Avi Weisfogel: Smiling Goes a Long Way

I don’t know about you, but, to me, it feels like not enough people are out there smiling. There needs to be more smiling people and more happy people. It is contagious. When you smile, you make someone else smile and it passes on. It is the best thing you can do: put a smile on someone’s face. Avi Weisfogel DDS is taking that responsibility seriously. He recently started a GoFundMe Campaign, which helps Operation Smile. What it does is very important and vital in my humble opinion: free surgical procedures for children. It also applies to young adults who suffer from cleft palate, cleft lips and other facial deformities.

How we look directly impacts how we feel. When we look good, we feel good. If we feel insecure about something, it shows and we tend to stay in more, hide, and feel ashamed of ourselves, even though there is no need to. We are all human. However, Avi Weisfogel wants to make sure as many kids as possible can have the smile they have always wanted. He wants them to be able to look at their photos and feel good about themselves. He wants them to walk around, proudly, confidently, and feeling as though they can take on the world.

The goal set by Avi Weisfogel is $2,000. Every little bit helps, and Avi Weisfogel understands this. He wants to make a difference and I truly admire that about him. So many people talk about doing things or making changes, but when it comes time to actually doing it, they stand with their hands in their pocket. That is not Avi Weisfogel, however. He is a man of his word and a man of honor. When he sets his mind to something, nothing can stop him. He is a truly one-of-a-kind individual and that is why so many people admire him, respect him, look up to him, and trust him.

With Operation Smile taking over, I have a feeling we are going to be seeing a lot more smiles each and every day we leave the house. I, for one, am looking forward to it and can’t wait!
