Alexandre Gama, the founder, CCO and CEO of Neogama is a Brazilian entrepreneur who was born on June 1st 1958 has been very active in the advertising industry. Internationally, Gama has emerged as the first Brazilian to lead the global network of agencies as Global Chief Creative Officer of the BBH (the British-based agency network.
Alexandre Gama attained his undergraduate degree in advertising and communication from Armando Pentado Foundation (FAAP) just after completing school he started his career right way in 1982 he began working at Standard Ogivily and Mather where he worked as a creative copywriter.
After eight years Alexandre Gama moved to a greener pasture at DM9 as Creative Director and Copywriter where spent only four years in which he was applauded and given award as most awarded copywriter of his generation in Brazil. Then he moved BBDO as a Creative Executive Director and shareholder and later Young and Rubicam as the CCO, CEO and a member of the global board in 1986.
Then Alexandre Gama left Young and Rubicam in 1999 and officially established his agency, Neogama. The company has been receiving award after award in 2006 Alexandre Gama was nominated as one of the seven most influential professionals in the history of Brazilian people by a group of 250 professionals of the national publicity market.
